    I really like freshwater "planted" tanks. ThatGuy has a nice one. Maybe he'll chime in with some pics....

    Before I got into Salt I didn't realize there were so many great freshwater tanks.. .until I went into the stores. There sure is some nice stuff out there. I wouldn't mind having a freshwater, but my hands are full for now(and wallet empty).

    Marine planted aquarium...WOW :surprised! Please post some pictures BillyD of what you have.

    Has anyone tried doing marine planted aquarium? Sounds complicated i think.

    Ohh i think you misread my post, i dont actually have one...yet. =) i have decided to start one though, once we get the wood floors down and i have room to set it up.

    Here are some pics though that were insperational to me. its a post, pics about half way down are amazing.

    I actually have gotten more into my FW tanks than SW...I guess working with SW all day has ruined that side of the hobby for me. I am in the middle of tearing down my reef and plan to setup a planted tank in its place. For now i have a ADA 60-p setup that i am growing dwarf baby tears emmersed until i get that really full carpet. i dont have recent pics of it but here is the hardscape.

    i have since planted 2 pots of dwarf baby tears and have been growing them out for about a month or so. it is really starting to spread nicely :) ill update with photos later.
    and here is my 5 gallon planted tank.

    and i guess ill add one more :)
    here is my old scape. The thing i love about planted tanks is doing the hardscape so i tear them down after they grow in and redo them all the time :)

    WoW! 8) GREAT JOB WITH THE LANDSCAPING! They look real!!!
