shimmer effect with LED?

    lol! yeah, i am a girl :) i know the max thing can be a bit confusing. my real name actually means maximum in Hebrew, that's when the whole max thing started.
    anyways, i want it because i really want this nice shimmer effect that i cannot get with T5's only. i think i will try to install it inside the fixture.

    yea the max thing got me once again sorry about that

    i have the same fixture except mine is a 36 i think you might be able to put it where the mibble leds are in the inside of the fixture if you dont mind removing them

    i unpluged the 2 outter set of moonlight leds on my fixture i thought it was to bright at night jmo

    the thing is that if i'll remove the fixture's LED and replace it with the other ones then it's gonna get too bright. i wish there was just an LED strip i can mount on my tank. couldn't find one.

    Too bright? You mean at night? He is saying to disconnect the "moon" lights and either remove them or install the the strip over the top of them. The strip is independent of the moon lights. If you don't mind not having the moon lights on, just disconnect them. The strip will be installed in the space where the moon lights are now occupying. I have both the Module and the Stunner. The Stunner will only give minimal extra par or light to the tank but a great shimmer. The Module adds considerable light and shimmer.
