Your tank is looking well Serv! Love the blue Milli, I"ve got a big colony too.

I'll stick with my quiet WP40's.

    Hey guys,

I can't help myself. I keep experimenting with flow. Here is my newest toy (don't remind my destitute and hungry wife and child please), a Tunze Wavebox.

I have no idea if it's good or bad for corals yet, but compared to the Vortechs, it produces a wave much more quietly and the wave has a much greater apparent magnitude. Everything in the tank rocks to the breeze. With the Vortechs the wave always appeared more superficial and much of the water movement was a constant undertow.

I'm running an experiment. I've shut the LEDs off to see how it affects growth. I'll report if anything interesting happens. For now the experiment means taking pictures Utes is a lot easier, so here's an update. image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

So far, no. I continue to be very nervous, but while he nips at a coral occasionally, he's not going after anything that bothers the corals when he does so or causes any signes of stress.

Thanks. I'm a bit embarrassed now. Here is the Stylo in January.
