    Looks like an asterina star to me. They aren't bad guys IMO. I have a few in mine.

    I haven't had a problem with them either. Theirs numbers in my tank have gone up and down though. At some points they were literally everywhere then they just drop off and don't see em then they come back anddo on.

    looking good, congrats on getting some life in there!

    did you drop a raw shrimp in there to cycle a few weeks ago like you were thinking, or are you using the damsels to cycle?

    green thing is a little sponge. He's doing no harm to anything or anyone so I would leave him alone.

    I don't know if others would agree, but you may be at a good time in your tank to add two things to it to "possibly" speed it along.

    MicroBacter7 and purpleup, and start hiring the cleanup crew of snails,ect
