There are are lot of frag swaps in Ohio, I'm sure you'll find something. I was tempted to go over there to buy some stuff from reefpets (eBay seller) for free shipping. The frags start at one dollar bidding style.

I've missed two swaps this year already.

Reefpets always has great stuff. I will definitely be buying from them. How were you able to get free shipping from their ebay sales? I think it usually runs about $20-30

In the description it says you can meet up with him at a public place and I think shipping is 2$ a frag then.

Oh OK. That would only benefit me if I was going there for another reason. Maybe if I went to a LFS in Cleveland and also got coral online...make a one day trip out of it.

Day 24 of the cycle. :D

    Ammonia: 0ppm
    Nitrite: 0ppm
    Nitrate: 10ppm
    Phosphate: 0ppm
    pH: 7.4
    Calcium: 335ppm - very low
Magnesium: 2200 (you've read that correctly) - through the roof!
    Alkalinity: 9.0 dkH ?

I thought I would share my excitement by taking a photo of all the test tubes leaning against the tank, but then I bumped them and they spilled on the carpet. lol.

Congrats on the quick cycle. Be careful on bringing up the Ca while lowering the Mg. They seem to be co-dependent and will move in tandem. I think you could do a large WC since you have no animals to get your Mg down them work on increasing your Ca. Alk is good where it is at.

I thought alk seemed to be at a reasonable level.

Also good news confirming my thought of cal/mag working together (or against each other).

I can do a water change, but don't have a calcium supplement right now and won't be able to get one fore about two weeks. So what should I do?

Link below for supplement I will be getting.
