    Ok so quite a bit has happened to me in the past week or so (college and family stuff) and so I will likely be taking this tank down and taking the corals with me in a 10g reef in my dorm.

    More info to come...I will explain later.

    That sounds like precollege planning and life man! Im sure you will work it out either way though.

    When I move the tank the plan is to put all the coral in a bucket, keep some of the sand and put it into the 10g tank, keeping it wet with an inch or two deep of water. Rock will be put into buckets and/or wrapped in wet towels in a foam cooler. The two 60* par30s will be used over the 10g tank with some desk lamps (but back to the old clip on reflectors for the time being)

    What I am not sure about is what to do with the extra rock once the tank is set up again. I will likely only use about 8-12 lbs. I know at least some of it will need to be kept for a few months until my sister starts her 6g reef. But the rest?...

    Should be safe. Vinny said to soak it in a bucket over night to be sure.
