I've been debating the same thing! Do you think you could get away with less than 3 squares of eggcrate?

Also, where did you find the plastic netting?

I don't think bending the frame is going to be a good idea. too many variables of it breaking, not holding the screen, etc. I am going to build a nice sturdy rectangle and add a piece of acrylic for the bend in the tank. I am going to have some open spaces now because of equipment, so I dont want anymore opening than I have to have. I'm a receiving all my stuff from BRS today, so I'll post an update on how it goes this weekend.

But I did see a thread somewhere, where they used thin plastic rods and used air tubing to connect them together. And they bent just fine. so that is an option, but finding the perfect size plastic rods and the tubing that will fit will be a larger challenge than putting it together.

Well, I got in everything and began putting it together, then realized that I have a plastic center support on my tank. And i only ordered 4 corner pieces. I had come this far already I just went ahead and made it. Only because it will have to be replaced anyways once I hook up a sump. So it doesnt exactly sit flush, but unless the fish is straight up suicidal, nothing should be getting out.
