Man I will be up for days checking those out. Thanks for that link. Great ideas on there and some wonderful tanks.

 

What substrate are you using? My girlfriend and i just steup 2 10 gallons for her bettas and tetras, We used the ada amazonia 2 so far so good. There was a really cool ada contestant from 2007 with an underwater "sandfall" It was a really cool effect.

amazonia II is great substrate! i use it myself with great results!

 

For any one interested here is a start on plants and such in the tank. I will be doing some rearranging of the plants but this is just a start and the extra hob filter in the middle will be coming off. Hey don't laugh either this is my first freshie with plants.

 

Turtle? Haha looking good lookin good. Makes me want tree frogs again...just suck out the water and listen to the ducks quack (we though a duck was in the house first time we heard our frogs croak, all 3 have since gone on to a better place, after 6 or so years)

I will put some updated pics up tomorrow as the lights are out right now and doing some testing on the reef tank at the moment. Not much has changed it is a slow grower and took out most of the floating plants as they grew like crazy and blocking out the light.
