    Looking good. :)

FWIW, I started my current tank with all dry rock. When I ordered my CuC, the snails had some coralline on their shells, and the hermits kept picking at it. In roughly one month, everything was turning purple.

Don't you feel that putting snails and crabs in together is just like offering escargot to the crabs ? Seeing them pulling the snails out of their shells and eating them is such a sad sad thing to have to watch. :)

On the plus side, the hermits will have new homes when they're finished. <j/k>

I agree-- I always wait until there is sufficient algae growth to support them first.

Mr bill I bought around 2 lbs of rubble live rock and started it in my fuge . it had lot s of purple, smooth shinny green, pink and hard crusty red. I scrubbed some of these on my dry rock but nothing yet. I am having to light my DT with an old 4' shop light I had :( just to light it up maybe the crap light is slowing it down? I will get a small clean up crew this weekend I hope a few snails moving through the rocks 24/7 might speed it up.
