I used the SeaTest that the previous owner had until it broke last week. Bought the one that replaced SeaTest and took it back. Didn't work. The LFS couldn't get a good reading either. Bought a Deep 6, don't see that it's any better. Get a different reading each time even after knocking off the bubbles. Didn't have this problem with SeaTest.

I bought a refractometer from Premium Aquatics. I bought their newer black one by Sybon for about $58.00. Love it. Just wished I'd taken everyone's advice sooner and bought it.

My son had a SeaTest, read 1.025. Checked the water with a deltec refractometer - the reading was 1.030!!! = Seatest now in the bin, all creatures happier!
