lowes or home depot should have them. i use a plastic wye hose pipe adapter with seperate control valves on each. nice to be able to shut off rodi unit when not using it. if you cant find the female hose pipe end with john guest fitting, you can always order from online either drs foster and smith or marine depot in the plumbing section

Lowes is better for "guest" fittings IME.

One of these in line will allow you to turn your RO/DI off with out shutting off the washer:

Home Depot has a bigger selection, at least in our area.. Now a few questions on the RO system.

Was it being used when you got it or was it sitting?

How old are the filters, as well as the membrain?

Do you have a TDS meter? If not I would NOT put a single drop of water that it makes until you have tested the water.

With used RO system, you have no idea how old it really is & what care was given to it.
