Rock covered in tons of cyano

    I believe he means blow it off with a power head.

    I would remove the rock and scrub it in a bucket of old tank water after a water change.

    there's also regular green algae; doing this method, could that go awya as well?

    can u post a pic? i really dont think its cyano...cyano can be blown off with a turkey baster or a powerhead.

    Alright, I meant, it's stuck well and cyano dosn't stick well... it's not cyano.

    A pick could help identify it though. Could just be red coralline.

    looks like cyano color...you can just Boil the rock and everything will be fine.
