the pressure gauge i have is an air rather than an oil. Does that make a difference? There were the only two options and i didnt know what to pick so I picked air.

The gauge does not matter really, an oil or liquid filled pressure gauge just dampens pressure oscillations or surges to give you a steady reading. Not really a big deal with an RO/DI which has a pretty steady pressure.

10 TDS really doesn't tell us anything without knowing what the tap water TDS, pressure, temperature and actual waste ratio are. It takes at least the tap water TDS and RO only TDS to calculate the rejection rate and all the other numbers to calculate the overall efficiency.
