Same here. I just screw it in to the faucet when I need to make water. This will leave no evidence.

    I use a spectrapure 5 stage ro/d.

    +1

If you connect under the sink, you can still use the faucet/sink while your collecting RO/DI water.... (possible advantage) :p

Thanks for all the replies everyone. So does pretty much any RO/DI unit come with the faucet adapter?

^^The BRs RODI does. Thats part of the reason why I went with theirs in the first place :)
Under the sink with T in the unused guest bath room.

If you go with brs stuff, id look into group buy.

i use a spectrapure and just bought a 5$ splitter for my washers cold water at home depot. the washer is only used once a week and i had cabinets above it so its great for me. also, if i do forget it, the overflow falls into the washer, giving me some security(when i make water, the jug sits on top of the washer).

Take a pic of the plumbing under the sink....i'll recommend fitting for you.

Hopefully you can go with "john guest" type push-to-connect fittings. By far the easiest and when you leave you will leave it looking exactly the same.

Heres my setup. I as well live in an apartment. When I leave, I plan on removing the tubing. Closing the valves you see in the pic and leaving that way.

Just use the tee valve to hook into the cold water line. Remove it when you move out and nobody will ever know you had a RO/DI unit hooked up. No cutting, soldering, or repairing needed (when you leave).
