RO/DI and Water Softener?

    Im having some trouble about placing my RO/DI unit. My home currentlly runs a water softener,and am unsure about its effects. If i place the unit after it runs through the softener will i be ok or not? or should i place it before the softener?

    I would run the ro after the softener......

    Welcome to 3Reef and yes it is fine to run it after the water softener. In fact doing so will allow your RO membrane to last longer.

    I would contact RO/DI manufacturer to make sure but i think it will be fine after it goes through softener. It should be eaiser on the RO/DI unit.
