    Actually funny story...

Mother nature helped out quite a bit. Our sump failed this spring and the basement flooded. Then in July we got over 8" of rain and since there was no sump and the concrete was cut out in places to install drain pipe, the basement REALLY flooded. My wife said screw the basement! And gave me all that space for fish tanks. ;D As long as I don't go crazy on expenses I can build as many as I want down there. Hmm.. anyone say ply/glass shark tank! lol

Both tanks look awesome, great plant choices and scaping. The bulb looks like a Red Tiger Lily to me.

Thanks! I knew you'd come through on an ID of that plant for me! Looked it up and that's what it is. Randy never did tell me. Want to thank you for pointing those guys out to me while I'm at it.

Awesome.....I love the planted tank look. I wish I had the time for another tank. I had to take down the pico and the 29 due to lack of time to spend on them. I will just enjoy the pics of the tanks you guys have. Very cool.

It's kind of funny but at first I was thinking that a f/w planted would be less work than reef keeping. It is...a little bit. Still have to test and dose and blah blah lol But as Ivan said in his thread, it's amazing how fast the plants grow.. so it's worth the few minutes every day. If you ever decide to do it you'll be happy I'm sure.
