Resolved Right side of filter system lower and not over flowing?

    you can add it any way like, the system will find it's own equilibrium, but allowing the fresh water to mix in the sump first will be easier on the tank inhabitants.

    i added some and it did raise the tank level but it didn't raise the level below at all??

    the vents at the top of the pump is for the water correct? the water line is below that

    maybe i have nothing to worry about i don't know :( the strange thing is my aeration system is still working so the pump must be correct?

    hmm, not sure whats going on but by the look of that last pic your pump going to start sucking air if the level gets much lower

    it reverse syphons when i turn the pump off

    Maybe a picture of the whole sump will help. I don't understand how in a normal system you can add topoff water and the water level around the return pump not go up again.

    Edit: Nevermind I saw the build thread.

    Adding pure RO water to the system is the only way to raise your water level again, this will also drop your salinity, you want to try and maintain around 1.025 so if it's higher than that then you need to add pure water to it.
