Ricordia growing like weeds..

I only feed my corals once a week. I get algae on sand Tele day after I feed. Super annoying. But I read here 3-4 days a week. Is that common?

 

Let me be more specific. Only 30 gallon tank and this is what I feed the corals

Fuel feeding is monday 7ml
Chaete treat is 16ml fed on wednesday along with some mysis or brine
the Zoo is generally friday and is 3ml
Rods (very small pinch)either I mix it in another day or put it in Sat or Sunday.


So all though I feed multiple days it is small amounts.
10gl WC every other week along with using reactor with GFO has things pretty well in hand.

 

damn DSC your tank is looking sick. The Rics look awesome. I will have to watch some videos on fragging them

 

I somehow now have three of these in my tank under crappy lighting and I have never fed them. I had one hitchhiker on a piece of LR and now I have three. Its a individual piece of rock so hopefully they stay on there.

 

Thanks chris, I appreciate the kind words. All I do is cut as close as I can from the rock and glue to a plug. They slime up alot though so I use tweezers to handle them.
