picked this up today not sure of the name.
Montipora capricornis, Orange I believe. A higher flow the more swirl to the growth formation you get. Needs acclimation to lighting (one of those corals that really benefits from acclimation). Move up to higher intensity lighting
Thanks. The orange is really bright, I have the perfect spot for it once its acclimated.
Looks great horton. Growth and colors look awesome
very pretty piece!
picked up some new corals over the past few days. I think I might have the acro bug but I'm running out of room.
I'll go out on a limb and say yeah you have the Acorpora bug. Tanks is looking very nice.
Get rid of that xenia and you'll get some more room. Nice tank!!!
I know I haven't posted in a while ,Have be extremely busy with work and all. Unfortunately I have had a bad dino outbreak that has become uncontrollable (my fault bought from a local fish store without quarantining) starting to see some of the corals suffer from it so I am doing a 3 day blackout as a last resort. I only have one fish a mandarin.
good luck on getting rid of it. Sorry to hear the bad news
