Here are the Skimz impellars from Aquacave. These look tapered. The one in my MF201 does not look like this, but looks like the one in your picture.

You can try to contact Jon Warner at Warner Marine.(sponsor here) But I haven't had much luck finding out when if ever they will be producing them again.

These are the same as skimz brand, with a slight modification to the bubble plate. Warner doesn't appear to be making any more of these. I've got the mf161 and absolutely love it, and can definitely recommend the skimz mf 121 or 161 if you can't find a Warner marine branded model. The gate valve idea is brilliant

Hello all, yes the newest Skimz/EDEN pinwheels have tapered pins. Other than that, all the same. They flow a bit less air but start up better (although the gen2 started up mostly fine too) Reports even attribute 200lph loss in the ES5000 pump.

Skimz does not give gen3 impellers as warranty replacements. They are just considered standard for new skimmers.

Keep up the pressure guys.:D Someday Jon will have to fold under it and go back to skimmer designing.

That would be great. The MFK 251 I got was terrible. I had heard so many good things about Warner marine skimmers.. but the skimz variant sure didn't live up to my expectations.

Holy smokes. I just looked up the price. Check it out:

At least the ES2000 is the cheapest one. ::)
