    That's what I'm going to try, taking it apart... I'm sure it just needs a good cleaning. If not I'm getting something else. Thanks for advice!

    +1 I had 4 MJ's all but one is still working with two giving me a nasty shock.I pitched them.:(

    yeah i ran it in vinegar water for a few hours, cleaned it all up and it ran great for about an hour. Now it's buzzing again, POS... going to get something different.

    I've found that MJ's work fine for awhile, but once they start getting noisy, it's generally time to swap them out. I've also found that the older units seem to last longer than the newer ones we've had.
