    my frogspawn had been doing great for 2weeks or so and now his one head is almost completely retracted while head 2 is like a marshmallow. water params are perfect and nothing in the tank has been changed, same low water flow and same pc lighting. my pair of clowns had been taking a little interest in him lately but not nipping and not all out digging in the coral either. they just would occasionally swim over it touching the top slightly. im not sure if he's sick, angry, growing a new head, or what. any ideas of why he looks this way?

    it reinflates a very small amount but then retracts again. he also spit out some white stringy stuff earlier. how long will it usually take to blow back up to full size?

    To be able to give you an educated answer, you will need to post your paras( ALk, Mag, Cal, No2, No3, Nh3, Po4, SG and temp). How old are your bulbs and what kind are they.?

    How far under the lights is your frogspawn sitting?

    Your paras look fine, even thou a Mag reading would be helpful, your lights are not old, temp and flow are good. The only two factors that I can think of is;
    1. Lighting not good enough
    2. Like I said before, they do that from time to time.

    Wait a day or two and see if its still the same.
