Well water is in. This is a pic running. Also of just the sump while running. And the last pic is my mock "power outage"

If/should??? I take more water out of the sump so it uses the first baffel a little better? Will the water go down in the display? I really can't have it go down any in the display backseat it's only tight to the bottom of the trim.

    Thanks

If the overflow is setup correctly you should be able to lower the water in the sump. That's the whole idea. The tank water level should be stable.

Does this look ok for sump level or should I let it go lower?

Also how do I keep my filter sock from floating? I had the shrimp in the sock bit now it's just in the bottom of the sump is that ok? Or should it be in the display?

Ideally you would want the sock in a chamber with less water but you could try putting a couple of pieces of liverock in the sock. It really doesn't matter where the Shrimp is as long as its in the water.

youve tested that the sump does not overflow in case of a power failure yes?

Yes, now I have just let some of the water go down so it flows over all the baffels.

looks good! did you give information about the tank? I just saw retirement community - is this something you are setting up at a home or similar?
