Required items and budget for a 180 gal reef

Thanks so much for taking the time Rocketman (and everyone else). I'm still a few months (hopefully) from making the leap and will be taking all of this feedback and producing bill of materials 2.0 here shortly. Really cool to see an online community where people don't constantly bash each other...

If you are not in a hurry and can save money play a little waiting game. After I bought my tank I came across two bigger tanks for what i had in mine with more stuff. Used is OK just check it out. My plan in a year is to be ready for the guy who has to sell by tomorrow. Sounds cruel but not everyone is leaving the hobby for bad reasons. Good luck.
