Replacement for MH light

    Today my viper k-2 light started acting pretty odd so i'm going to replace it. I called my LFS and they recommended this light:
    36 Inch Panorama Marine LED

    It is pretty pricey though so I was wondering if this would be better for my tank than a t-5 HO system 2-4 bulbs. They said that since my tank is tall I should go with the leds or an 8 bulb t-8 system (wayyyyyy more expensive).

    Please let me know what you think!

    My tank is 30" W and 23" tall.
