I wouldn't recommend API Phos test, The only one I have found to be accurate is the salifert brand. But I'd first say to take a sample to your LFS to verify your test results. It sounds like you're taking all the right steps, but from the pics I don't really see any algae in your tank. If it's just not visible from the pic, then I would want to ask the types of food you are feeding. And if you are doing water changes to eliminate extra nutrient consumption.

I got a scribbled rabbitfish and a sailfin tang. They both eat tha herbs ;D

I only feed my fish once a day. Just what they will consume in about 5 minutes.

I feed a mix of Formula 1 and 2 flakes, Frozen Brine Shrimp and freeze dried Krill.

Every once in a while Ill toss in a little Hikari Marine -S- for the smaller guys and crabs n such. Also once a week I put in Omega One Super VEGGIE Green Seaweed on a clip for my tangs and rabbits.

I do water changes once every month, about 25%

Yeah, I was way late when I posted I had to walk away for a minute and when I came back I saw all the other replies. I agree from the closer pics that's coralline, but it can get rather bothersome to clean each week. I made a home made scraper with cpvc and a 45 elbow, cut a slit in the 45 from side to side, and shove a razor blade in (so long as your tank is made of glass). You can buy a cheap pack of 100 blades for 5 bucks. Lasts you years if you use one a week. The mag float also does the trick from day to day. All in all, green coralline is much better than a bad out break of GHA.
