Hola Hermano. Missed the swap and the last few meetings. New job new responsibilities and no real help. But I'm chugging along.
As far as your tank goes. My opinion is K.I.S.S. a 600 gallon tank should be easier to maintain stable than a 60 Gallon. I don't have near as many corals or anything like that. I would say less tinkering and more viewing Sir. Keep an eye on everything and test when corals act funny. That's what I do. So far so good. When I was "chasing numbers" I suffered more losses. Could never keep anything alive. I'm sure SPS are more demanding than other corals, and the more you have the more demanding. Stick to what you know works and tiny changes as you go buddy.

Thanks Rolo. Missed you too. The frag fest was a success. As for my tank. It's almost back to normal. I'm fighting nitrates (8ppm) and phosphate finally dropping and registered at .14 ppms. I'm happy so far. If you can we have a meeting this weekend if you can attend. Take care and good hearing from you.

Hello everyone. Where do I start?
I know it's been a while and the tank is finally (fingers crossed) and I believe I've solved the problem of my cloudiness. I added a refugium in my sump with a lot of cheato and was still dosing the regular recommended amount of Red Sea Nopox at the same time. Slowly as my cheato was growing I was not reducing the Nopox so I believe I was having a massive bacteria bloom in my tank. I have reduced it weekly until I met my nitrate range I recommend (2.5 ppm) as that keeps my phosphates around the .03-.07 range depending on what I'm feeding.
Also I've added a lot of aquaculture frags and there are some pieces I'm trying to recover like a rainbow pectina that is left of my space invader pectina.
So here is the latest video of my system . Enjoy.
