Reef Angel Controller arrived today 2-9-11!!!!!

One touch feeding...control via iPhone app...I'm hooked, getting the apex !!

 

I'm buying the Apex within the next couple of months. I actually already have $800 invested in the RKE... and yet I choose to keep it in my garage. Long story, but I refuse to deal with it because of pour customer service.

Has anyone heard any recent grumblings about Neptune's current customer service?

I haven't decided but I may try the Reef Angel, I am not afraid of writing my own code so it could be fun.

let me know how the reef angel works out for you. i might get one myself. tossed the idea back and forth a few times.

 

I would also like to hear you thoughts regarding the RA. It's been awhile since a review has been posted and you've always been very thorough with your responses.

I just read your comment about dosing multiple times per day while using the wavemaker function in my other thread and figured I would respond to it here. I know the wavemaker stuff is built in and shouldn't be a problem. The multiple doses per day has also been worked on before I believe, but to the best of my knowledge it hasn't yet been introduced into any set of libraries yet. Some digging around for the code might be needed here. I'll let you know if I come across it but I'm pretty sure it's been implemented at some point.

Thanks, it is looking to be a great investment as more specialised coding becomes available. I did see a post about multiple periods but just not where to find it. I also saw a warning about not having the same intervals for dosing and the wavemakers.

 

Well I pulled the trigger today and ordered a Reef Angel with the relay unit. Both are on back order so I will not be receiving them for a couple of weeks or more.
