    So I have had an LED intervention the last few months... Or should I say need one with my shopping habits.

    So I hate how I cant seem to get good LED supliments without having a canopy. And cant have a canopy cause the light fixture doesn't allow it. So What Im doing is building a 1/3 Canopy, and pushing the light fixture back a tad! and there is going to be an LED overhaul in the canopy. So far Here is a list of everything being added to the tanks Lighting:

    4 LED Lunar Simulator (Have already)
    2 ecoxotic PAR38 12,000°K 21W bulbs
    2 ecoxotic Stunner LED Strips 8,000°K White/453nm Blue w/Reflector

    Lets hope this gives the tank a nice shimmer!

    The LEDs will be so much fun and look awesome! I can't wait to see before and after pics...maybe even a video! :)

    That's cool, but why just 2 PAR38s. What's that saying, "go big or go home"? I think 6 will give you some shimmer ;D

    LOL Im just adding them for the shimmer. The Par38s actually I believe are around 6" in diameter, Fit 6 of those across the tank and Its almost the Whole tank (Considering the center brace I think is around 4" or 6" big). Plus at 120$ a crack just a bit out of the world for my taste! LOL

    The two stunner strips should fit in the middle nicely and help with that shimmer.

    That's why I went with PAR30s, it would have been tough to fit PAR38s. I also only have two though. I can't tell if they add shimmer though, the MH and all :smartass1

    Hah, seeing what 4 little white LED's do to the tank, Im sure these will make it shimmer just fine :p Considering...

    PAR38's - 10LED's
    Moonlights 4LED's
    Stunner Strips - 26LED's :p

    So 40 LEDs total.. :D.

    I'll have 28 LEDs in my 75g when my day lights are on. :)

    This new setup of LEDs should be nice, Eric.
