    BTW, don't worry about the "red light" that your fuge light "may" be producing. I run most fuges with 5500K or less. The kelvin really doesn't decide what grows....now saying that I am strictly talking about a small PC light on the fuge.

    Most plants grow better with a lower kelvin bulb. I have seen macro grow very slowly under a 88K bulb then change to a 55K bulb and it start sprouting like weeds. Plants, such as macros, use the lower end of the spectrum and bluer bulbs produce light that plants can not use.

    If you notice, in most freshwater planted tanks, the hobbiest run 88K or less....almost ALWAYS,

    I would again say that this cyano is of no fault of yours but a natural cycle. I would try the flow and/or the conchs...
