I am not against using the Microbacter7. It adds beneficial bacteria to your tank which may or may not have been in your tank at one time and insures that you have those bacteria in the tank. With using it for 2 weeks though, it should have introduced enough and be able to repopulate that bacteria in your system. Just my opinion here, The water clouded up a little at first use of nopox and i think when the water cleared up the bacteria in the water column clouding the water up died therefor raising nitrate or atleast keeping it constant. Also I think the Microbacter7 is also adding to the nitrate due to the fact it does have ammonia in it which cycles through to nitrate, not a bad thing though. I would possibly cut back or eliminate the microbacter for a while and see if that changes anything for you and go from there. Just my .02.
