Yeah, I'll keep a close eye on it. I has been slowly doing this for probably 2 months now. I haven't changed the lighting either.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Hope this help somewhat. The mother colony is 6 inches away from a Radium 20k, 150 watts.

This first image you can clearly see the base is an emerald green, as it tables out towards the light it becomes more red and looses the emerald at the tabling and tips.

The RP frags are almost shaded off to the side, they retain both the green and red.

The only reason I can think for browning is the wrong K, phosphates or just a simple coloration change that will resolve is given enough time to acclimate. Acropora coloration changes can take months in my opinion.

Description:The ORA Red Planet is one of our most popular corals. It is a tabling Acropora with red and pink corallites and a metallic green base. Polyp coloration on this coral is a deep red and the new growth is light pink to white. Under intense lighting the coral may lose the attractive green coloration, it will return if the coral is moved to a lower light area.

    Placement: All Levels
    Lighting: Medium - High
    Flow: Moderate - Strong
