Red Gracilaria for tangs and angels?

    Is it a good idea to get some Red Gracilaria to feed tangs and angels? I saw this on reefcleaners and was just wondering? I have order rock from John and love his customer service just getting ready to place an order for a clean up crew and wondering if it was a good call or not.

    gracilaria is good, ulva is better, caulerpa I think is the best, especially for angels. french angels will love you if you feed them fern caulerpa, can be in the tank a day and they will eat fern caulerpa from your hand - they can't resist. :)

    Just pointing out that if you do use caulerpa and grow it yourself, there is some risk involved.

    what if i just let some ulva grow in the tank? How fast does it grow?

    A tang would eat any algae you put in the tank itself faster than it will grow.

    If you can get it to grow in the first place lol... i have issues with copepods devouring my ulva
