    I'd say that your tank is still relatively "new" but I'm the sort that doesn't believe that a tank is truly mature until it has past the 1 year mark. If the cyano truly bothers you and you've made an effort to clean your water up and/or change the flow in your aquarium, go ahead and use the Chemi-Clean. Just make sure that you continue to keep water parameters in check so that it doesn't come back.
