I did tell Shaun that we were expecting a bad storm, but he assured me that it would be o.k. .... in retrospect ... you are right, I should have gone with my gut instinct and scheduled for next week .... :(

I'm not trying to blame you, just for future reference. He probably should have waited too, but he probably wanted to get it shipped so he can move on.

Ugh I'm so sorry!! This has been one difficult order for you. I received a fish on Friday morning that was DOA, and I'm pretty sure it's because of the bad weather. Poor little guy had a long layover in Kentucky, where it was really cold. If I had known the weather was so bad I wouldn't have had him shipped.

I hope your fish and corals are okay!

    Thanks, KC.
It has been difficult for all involved.
Shaun has been great though and I cannot complain about Vivid Aquariums customer service.

Where did you order from KC?

I have always wondered why a shipment from California flies all over the country before it reaches the final destination ... seems kinda silly.

Mine was coming from North Carolina to Seattle, Washington, so I can see why my guy went through so much weather. But yours traveling from California to Texas - doesn't seem like it should have to go to so many places. That is crazy!

    Yep.

What is even crazier is that the MAIN FedEx hub for the whole Texas panhandle region is less that 2 hrs from me.
And DFW airport -a major air travel hub - is about 6 hrs away.

    WTF?
