you could always keep everything except the fish or maybe keep a fire fish or two ill take the some of the snails if you can ship
Alright .... the fish are taken care of.
All I kept was 10 nassarius snails and the monti cap.
Local LFS took them ... I got a new Koralia PH out of it .... works for me as that's about all they had that I would want.
Hopefully someone will give them a good home soon ... there was a lady looking at the firefish as soon as I brought them in.
Now, to work it out with Vivid Aquariums ... I let everyone know what happens.
Should have kept some of the Asterea snails. They are much better than a nerite or turbo IMO.
Otherwise. A free Koralia is awesome for your troubles.
What happens if the want you to send everything back?
I actually already have a few astrea, but did not have any nassarius.
Then they are S.O.L.
Cause they said to keep or find homes for them ... not to ship them back.

Just gotta talk to them Monday to arrange the shipping date.
I Can't wait ... last week went by so slow since I was waiting for my new fish/coral.
Spoke with Shaun, he called this A.M.
He apologized for the mix up (repeatedly) ... said MY order went to North or South Carolina (can't remember exactly) and that this rarely happens as he is a perfectionist ... sounds like somebody is probably gonna get chewed out pretty good over it though.
They are getting my original order (minus the WYSIWYG Alien Maze Brain) together and will call me back by Wed. to arrange another shipment.
As for the WYSIWYG Alien Maze Brain I ordered ... he said that one is obviously gone, but would replace it with a comparable frag.
So far, they seem like stand up guys and I have not felt wronged in any way-occasionally mistakes will happen and as long as they make it right, I am o.k. with it. Just a little disappointed that I didn't get my new fish/corals when I expected, but this hobby WILL teach you patience.
And from what I have seen so far - from the well packaged, healthy looking shipment I DID receive; the excellent communication and the responsible handling of a rare mix up - I would (at this point) still recommend Vivid Aquariums .... so far.
So, hopefully by the end of the week I will have my new livestock ... ;D
