    You should post that skimmer pic in that other thread we were talking in. Nice tank. Compared skimmer to your my PCI just seem like it idling its good to know there more headroom.

    How much does that skimmer cost, I'm looking to upgrade the skimmer on my 120g tank. Beautiful tank by the way!

    How does a recirculating skimmer work? And thanks for the links! I'm interested in the needle wheel models. They look similar to ASM or EuroREEFs but cheaper in price.

    rec skimmers use a small feed pump to fill the body and the main pump basically recurlates the water and bubbles in the body to keep it in contact longer, so it is supposed to be more efficient. the down side is they may take up more room as the pump is mounted sideways on the body, and you have to find a happy medium between feed water and bubbles because if there is too much turbulence in the body it wont skim very well. either way, these are great skimmers at a wonderful price(bye bye deltec and h&s)very good build, strong pumps, you really can't go wrong on these. highly recomended
