OK..here's short story what happened? sometime last night my RBTA went over powerhead and it's blown out million pieces. she's was such beauty and never thought this could happen, sad to see tiny parts of her floating around.

now i don't want my tank to crash, it's kinda of milky in color now. what I am supposed to do? planning to do 50% water change and run more carbon?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Prime/water changes/carbon/run skimmer wet.

When you do the water change try siphon as much of the remains up as possible.

I would expect to be doing a couple water changes if this was a fairly large BTA.

Why do they do this a night?????????

Very frustrating, sorry for the loss.

Test for ammonia every day for a couple days.

Thanks Coraline ! She was fine and being at one spot for more than 2 weeks. not sure what made her to move around and eventually getting herself killed.

all parameters now also look good, may be ammonia spike would happen if i don't do huge WC. let's do WC and run carbon
