    I have a dragon eye zoa for over a month now & there are only a few polyps. I have read that they spread fast. How fast is "fast"?

    The rate will vary depending on light and nutrient availability. It will vary from system to system. If that is a few new polyps then it sounds OK.

    Like gangbusters in my tank. even the more exotic ones you can seen noticeable growth every 2 weeks or go. Not full polyps, but new one starting/lengthening

    i have seen some stay with 4 polyps for months whereas other can carpet an entire back wall in 8 or so months.
