EDIT - go to last post for pics

I am coming across quite a bit of Sebdenia, Halymenia elongata (not your run of the mill halymenia), and Sciania. have probably butchered the spelling on all these names, but they are within reason. Well my macro people know what these species look like already. I will post pics on the site when/if they become available one the site but I wanted to give the people who have been waiting all year first dibs. PM if you are interested in any of these species and we can go from there. $10 each, sorry but I am getting beat up by the current in this particular spot and I am short one flipper. All of these require Express Mail outside the state of Florida to arrive alive. All species have a decent size waiting list I have compiled throughout the year, after a few days though all non-responses will be cleared. No one has to pay until they are at the top of the waiting list and the order is filled.

So, if you are interested you can pm me, or post here saying you are interested, what species you want, and how many and we can go from there.

If you are not familiar with Sebdenia flabellum (sp?) and Halymenia elongata they look very similar, and one or the other would be fine for most purposes, I doubt you could tell them apart, maybe even next to each other. Also some other Halymenia species like H. duchasignae and floridana. They can be added for $7/5 respectively.

I would look into it but I need to get all the infrastructure in place on the new tank. Can't wait to see what they look like though.

John, what do these plants look like? What color are they? Any pictures? I have some codium in my D/T. I like the way the Codium looks in my tank and would love to add a variety of macros to my tank. Is it too late to be added to the list?

    i pmed you the details.

i will probably have enough after filling the lists of people that wanted them for awhile, and then I will post pics, and put them on the site. I expect a mad rush to wipe it out then...lol... here is some images from around the web:

oh nevermind, most are inaccurate...google images isn't what it used to be. I will get the camera on it then, give me some time is all. Maybe incognito will be so kind as to shoot a few pics, might make them look to nice though....

the species names of what i have now are:

Halymenia elongata (Looks like a red semi-translucent version of codium, but is awesomer than what you are thinking. No...even better than that, keep going. :) )
Sebdenia flabellata - only small pieces of this actually...
Halymenia pseuofloresia - only one really nice one, but a few that will grow out
Agardhinula browneae - only one, person who gets it will be purely random.
CHrysymenia eneteromorpha - poor shipper, pods eat it, will throw some in for free probably or keep it myself and see if i can grow some out
Stypoodium zonale - nice brown macro - HUGE - for a tropical species
Halymenia duchassaingii - on the site
Halymenia echinophysa - looks great in nature, hard to aquascape with if you have a small tank though because it gets BIG
Nemastoma gelatinosum - probably doesn't look like what you are thinking
Predea feldmannii - just a few of these too

Anyway, that is my current secret macro stash inventory, quantity hidden to protect the secrecy of the thing, but they are really low on all accounts.

All of these macros are difficult to care for in the sense you can burn them with too much light, they aren't too happy with particularly high available nutrient waters, and they are going to be lots of fun to attach. Globulars are just that way...they fleshy algae are the same, but should be easy to attach.

I'm interested in Halymenia duchasignae and floridana if any is available.

    Thanks,

    Brian
