    Search amcarrig has posted here several times of a rescipe we use to soak old Rock to clean it.. Takes a bit of time.

    3 days 50/50 bleach, then 3 days in water, then 3 days in RO/DI and Baking Soda. After that then the rock needs to dry for 2 weeks and you will have clean rock.
