PVC overflow

    Er, I'm not sure what you mean. Are you talking about the part that will hold a siphon on the overflow?

    Nope. You don't need anything like that. You really don't need it anywhere on the overflow or drain.

    How did you think you would fit this onto your overflow, anyway...?

    :) , i just seen some pipes with the this on right by the 2 90s that goes over the tank,they drilled a little hole on the elbow n glue it..

    I believe that's for an Aqualifter or similar pump, to prevent an air bubble from building up in the overflow.

    yea thats what i thought,but what i have read from others forums,they never mention any pumps to help the shipon,so not sure if it works without one..

    It would work without one, depending on the flow through it. It'll need to be decently high. What size pipe is this, and what kind of return pump are you going to use?
