    Hi macbro

I have just checked out the aqualogic 1/3 HP chiller and these units have a chiller coil that you drop into the sump area - they are not like other chillers that you run water through

so when the Aqualogic spec says 10 - 20 gallons they mean per mintute - so 600 - 1200 gallons per hour

so if you have a sump system, you drop the coil into the sump and as the quite one 3000 is rated at 780 gallons per hour - if this is your return pump, then alowing for head pressure etc you will still be moving over 600 gph through your sump and thus seems to me based on my 10 minutes experience of these type chillers to be about right

hopefully someone will come on and tell us if I am completely wrong on this
