Pulled the trigger...LED installed / Light Skirt DIY

I had issues with the fixture as well as sps growth..sometimes a bargain is not. : / I'll wait till I can afford some top drawer fixtures..

BUSY BUSY.. LOL...weddings..birthdays...deaths...births...LIFE...But I am sitting here right now with my daughters and my Grandkids all in my house...the circle is complete. ; )

LG, Sorry you had troubles with these- you were pretty fired up on them in july 2012.

I still have my basement brand- Taotronics themselves- NO dimmer- 2 plugs
30W, 25blue Leds.

I'm linking my review thread- not that you need to read it,
but, it's been a few weeks shy of a year I've had these!

I do have only two over my standard 6ft long 125g.
I now have the LED height (higher than the outside of the fixture) at about 7inches off the water.

I'm growing sps great!

we ordered one of these fixtures about a year ago and thats why i was asking... had 2 burnt out leds already and from what i understand these are supposed to last for 10 years. also we have it over a 40 gal breeder and only turn it up about half way so at full blast who knows how many would of went

 

Switched to halides from that LED too.
