Exactly! one fine example is tv's cosmo, since they have phased out tubes, lcd's spiked for a bit,but then competition started, prices fell and options are almost unlimited.I know,i've bought 3 in the last 2 years (all for seperate rooms) but the largest and most expesive was only around $350,just 4 years ago, this was a $1000 tv and wishful thinking for me.So just think where they will be with led's in yet another year, endless possibilities.

Just built a Light Skirt to keep some of the light bleed from going all about the room..
Just took an 8 foot 1 X 8 and cut it, 1 @ 48" and 2 @ 19"...glued and screwed..added a 3/4 X3/4 square support towards the rear and some 2' X3/4 X 3/4 random to hold it even and also to keep it lite for easy removal.

Added some mirror tape on the inside to reflect some more light into the tank

    Really, that sucks.
Another one going from LEDs back to T5's.
Were they working well enough for your corals or were you forced to go back because of the fixture not working right?
