powerhead will get here monday so they will have some time to adjust they will be like WTF where did all this flow come from, i want to face the powerhead towards the bow for crazy water movement but at the same time i want to have it facing the surface to get rid of my film algae at the the surface but at the same time i want it to place it towards the rocks to get rid of my cyano.....UGH i need more powerheads

I put mine near the top back right corner facing the center of the bow & down a bit and it seems to draw a lot of surface water and creates a lot of surface movement so you might be able to do all that or a lot of it.

How many power heads are you going to have now? How many GPH are you going to be pushing total from your system?

i will have two powerheads, thinking i may need one more but i will wait and see after the new powerhead gets here. But the mp20 is running at 2000GPH and the new powerhead will be 1050GPH so i guess that makes it 3,050GPH which is just shy of the total GPH of a MP40 which is 3,200 GPH

does that much water flow cause the substrate to fly around like crazy? also does it cause your fish to struggle to swim?
