    nitrate is at 50 today I guess it can only go down from there

    Its already going down. It went from 80ppm to 50ppm with in a couple of days. You should be fine, put your shirt back on:laughings. Luna

    When you add live mud it probably has some die off. I am guessing you got it packaged, and that will do it for sure. Eventually it will help bring it down, but not at first.

    Still at 50+ as of today But all the fish seem ok so I hope it goes down by this week
