Problims with my nitrate level

    Yeah that is not bad at all. If the tank is still cycling the nitrates will go up and then they will fall back down at the end of the cycle.

    the tank is 6 months old but i upgraded from 70 - 100 tank sump 20-55 and when i set it up i was told it was 110 to o mixed up to much new water then 3 weeks later I added 75 pounds more of LR

    Looks like the tank is in a cycle just give it ime and it should settle down, but I am not a pro at this either.

    Well all my fish are eating and the water is clear. Its just i have 500$ in tangs and you know how they can be.

    No tangs in this tank to small. But in the process of setting up a big one in the basement.

    Tangs are dumb but great to watch and beutafuly as well maby its a good thing there not as smart as angles

    yeah if you're still cycling No3 will go up, way more than 20ppm and then fall again. once they fall i recommend a decent water change, then you're golden.

    Those params are not that bad at all. I wouldnt worry about the tangs, they are hardy, tough fish. My naso lived through an anemone death, and during that my params were A LOT worse than that.
    Best thing to do would be to do.... nothing. Stop with the water changes till everything settles back down. Cutting down on feeding a little bit till then would help.
