I have to go along with Raven and Nuhtty on this one. How old are your test kits? Also do you have a TDS meter? If not, you might want to have your RO/DI water tested.

Yep. I have a nice 6 stage ro/di filter that I thought was doing a great job if it wernt for the algea. I bought a tds meter and mesured the water and it was 50. My water is 250 without the filter but 50 is still to high. So I replaced the DI media and this brought it down to zero tds....guess what. a few water changes later and a little of JohnOs scrubbing and I am on my way to WAY less algea. The battle is not over quite yet but this helped alot. Heres the link to the one that I bought. Very resonable price.

Blue Hermits love green algea. I have lots of these.
Feed your fish a varied diet including frozen foods. I feed every other day or once a day.

    Hope this helps.
