Power Outages and ecoBAK

    With the storms hitting so much of the country I just wanted to let you know what to do with your ecoBAK if you have an outage.

    If you have an extended outage, more than 4-5 hours remove the reactor and pour the ecoBAK out into a container. Soak the ecoBAK in tap water and rinse it off and after it dries it will be good as new. ecoBAK, GAC or GFO left in a stagnant reactor may cause problems after the power resumes.

    Yeah had this problem with bio pellets since there's no water taking the waste away it begins to rot once the chamber begins to rot your gonna need to dump all the product and clean the chamber completely.

    Rotted chamber smells like the stinky gates of hell you'd swear it was brimstone.
